Seat #4 of the Hawaiian health wa‘a (canoe) is another “powerhouse” seat. It follows the rhythm of seat #2, is the most visible, and grows with the community. Seats #3 and #4 share the synchronization of policy efforts to administrative and governing authorities, strategic planning, and relationship building with entities outside the main kino (body) of the canoe. Unique to the Papa Ola Lökahi wa‘a, all seats support the Native Hawaiian Health Care Systems.
