HOLOMUA PROJECT – MEDICAL INFORMATICS MANAGER
Under indirect supervision of Holomua Project Principal Investigator, the Medical Informatics Manager is responsible for the daily coordination of the Master Visit Registry (MVR) implementation initiative for a health information exchange project to include planning, implementation, training, and sustainability. 

The Medical Informatics Manager oversees the MVR implementation; coordinates analysis of requirements; and conducts acquisition strategies, hardware topologies, and software design methodologies as needed.  The incumbent shall work with the Holomua Partners, particularly the IT and Privacy and Security workgroups to formulate, recommend and carry through technical approaches for incorporating the MVR into existing and proposed health information systems.

Works with Partners; mainly two community health centers (Kalihi-Palama Health Center and Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services) and two hospital systems (Hawai`i Pacific Health and the Queen’s Medical Center), and the Hawai`i Primary Care Association (HPCA).

Provides direction and guidance to other project staff and coordinates overall Holomua efforts as assigned by the PI.

Medical Informatics Project Manager. 
Manage the implement & training of a 5 institution health info tech. sys.  Coord. & facilitate requirements workshops.  Must be able to work with coalitions, interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders and be knowledgeable in IT infrastruct and networks. Strong communication, leadership and org. skills needed to work with geographically distributed stakeholders.   3-5 yrs. Leadership exp. in clinical/informatics or related field pref.
