In 1988 Pinky Thompson helped to create Papa Ola Lokahi to improve the physical and mental health of Native Hawaiians and their families. He was proud of being Hawaiian and compassionate toward his people. His desire to serve led him to social work, his righteous determination led him to the resources that are still at work improving Hawaiian health, education, employment, and reviving and reliving our culture.
Pinky is our hoku, our star, eternally lighting the skies as we navigate toward health and wellness.
