An applicant for the Project Coordinator position shall exemplify the following:
- Familiarity with Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities
- Familiarity with health disparities due to chronic diseases
- Exceptional interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication strategies and skills
- Willingness to collaborate with community partners
Essential duties include
- Collaborating with others to assess, collect and disseminate information and resources
- Developing and implementing community navigator trainings and educational workshops
- Assessments, environmental scans and program evaluation
- Build and maintain strong agency and community partnerships
